RE: Fuel Efficiency Rates (MPG)
300 hp cummins, 35 ft, usually around 23000 weight, 1/2 time pulling saturn weighing 3300 lbs, past 4500 miles averaged 8.83 mpg. Usually cruise at 60-63 mph in economy mode.
Braking noise
A new beeping noise, similar to the sound made backing up, has appeared whenever brakes are applied, can't figure it out as brakes act normal and no other warning sounds or lights engage. 2001 freightliner chassis, 300 hp cummins on Fleetwood Discovery 34q. Any ideas would be appreciated.
noisy hot water heater
The heater works fine but, from the outside, sounds like a blow torch. I've heard or read that you should not hear it over 25 ft away and this unit, an Atwood, can be heard upwards of 100 ft. Disruptive to other campers. Ideas?
